We provide a wide selection of both novalac and resole Bakelite Syntheic phenolic resins, of unmodified and modified resins. These resins are used in impregnation, saturation, and compression molding - cold, hot, or warm.

These resin systems go into automotive disc brake pads, drum brake linings, and clutch facings.

Durite™ FD-658E Powdered, heat resistant. excellent hot molding latitude. General purpose bond for friction elements. Used in abestos and non asbestos composite.
Durite™ FD-703A Powdered epoxy modified. Excellent hot molding latitude and provides improved noise characteristics while retaining the necessary performance. Designed for semi-metallic pads and segment.
Durite™ FD-870X Powdered, heat resistant novolac phenolic resin. General purpose bond for friction elements. Used in abestos and non asbestos composite.
Durite™ D_FD-1320E Silicon modified phenolic novalac with hexa Increase thermal stability, superior noise reduction.
Durite™ FD-2064 Cresol modified, pulverized novolac phenolic resin, good process latitude. Organic and semi-metallic friction elements.
Durite™ FD-2170 Powdered, heat resistant novolac phenolic resin. General purpose bond for friction elements. Used in abestos and non asbestos composites.
Bakelite® PF9587 RP Boron-phosphorus-modified phenolic-novolak in powder form. Used in brake and clutch linings.
